FOSTER INFORMATION
New Digs For Dogs relies on the support and love from foster
families to house and care for our rescued dogs. It is only with
their help that we are able to rescue so many dogs. After all,
we can only rescue as many dogs as we have foster homes!
All of our dogs are screened for health and temperament
before entering the rescue program.
As a foster home, you would be providing a dog in need a
safe home until they find their forever family. By fostering a
rescue dog you would be preparing them for a smooth
transition into a permanent home. All related veterinary
expenses would be paid for by the rescue. You provide a
home, your time and much needed love.
Interested in fostering a dog? The first step is to fill out the Foster Application below. Upon receiving your application we will review it to ensure that weare making the best possible match for a dog who has come into our rescue. After it is reviewed you will be contacted by a member for further information. An interview, and a home visit may be required before an application is approved. Although we appreciate the interest, not all applicants will be accepted as a foster home. If this is the case, please consider a different way to help the dogs in need - volunteering for the rescue. More information about volunteering can be found on the Volunteer page above.
Still unsure about fostering a dog, or have other questions? Email us at the address below and we will be sure to respond as soon as we can. Thank you for your interest in helping these dogs in need!
